OPEN RE­HEARSAL IN MOR­LEY FOR BLACK DYKE BAND

Black Dyke Band will again present an open re­hearsal at Mor­ley Town Hall, this time for the Bri­tish Open Cham­pi­onship test piece Vita Aeterna Vari­a­tions by Alexan­der Comi­tas.

The re­hearsal will start at 8pm on Wed­nes­day, Septem­ber 3 and this will be fol­lowed by a short con­cert.

It is im­por­tant to note that the re­hearsal this time is on Wed­nes­day and not Thurs­day as is usual be­fore a con­test.

Ad­mis­sion is free and doors open at 7.30pm.

Be­fore then, the band will play a fundrais­ing con­cert at Ripon Cathe­dral this Satur­day to sup­port the cho­ris­ters at the cathe­dral.

The con­cert starts at 7.30pm. Re­served seats are £18, un­re­served seats £14, un­der-16s £8. Tick­ets are avail­able on the door or by call­ing 07798 696379.

The band play at the Royal Al­bert Hall in the Na­tional Cham­pi­onships Fi­nal on Oc­to­ber 11.
