1 The Halifax Bierkeller

The Arches, Dean Clough, Halifax, November 15 and 16, 7pm The Halifax Bierkeller is back by popular demand and is sure to be a treat for beer lovers on November 15 and 16.

The event, which will take place at The Arches in Dean Clough, Halifax, will feature a full bierkeller experience. The World Famous Amazing Bavarian Stompers will be performing with a chance for audience participat­ion. A full bar will be available, with more than just beer, an fancy dress is optional but actively encouraged. The event is sold out For November 16 but there are still tickets left for November 15.

They cost £20 and include entry, entertainm­ent and bratwurst and chips - to help soak up the Beer.

Stein Hire is not included in the price but will be available subject to a £5 refundable deposit. There will also be a DJ and the event will finish at 1am. www.thearchesd­eanclough. com

2 Shibden Winter Craft Fair

Shibden Hall, Halifax, November 16 and 17, 10am to 4pm Calderdale Council’s Winter Craft Fair at Shibden Hall on Saturday 16 November and Sunday 17 November, from 10am to 4pm, will be a real celebratio­n of the difference Gentleman Jack has made, and a chance to find unique gifts, try local produce, enjoy the festive atmosphere and explore Anne Lister’s historic home at a reduced price. The fair will be one of the last chances to go inside Shibden Hall before it closes for winter on Tuesday 24 December until Monday 2 March 2020. www.museums.calderdale. gov.uk

3 Mytholmroy­d Christmas Market & Christmas Lights Switch On

Various locations in Mytholmroy­d, November 16, 12.30pm-6.30pm Royd Regenerati­on, in conjunctio­n with Hebden Royd Town Council, have organised Mytholmroy­d’s Christmas Market and Lights switch-on which will take place on Saturday, November 16 in St Michael’s Church Hall, Erringden Room and Memorial Gardens from 12.30pm to 6.30pm,

There will be a large variety of stalls plus local food and drink, Free face painting for children, along with crafts and storytelli­ng, live ice carve and a visit from Father Christmas.
