Cup duties for league’s Premier Division sides

-

IT’S CUP weekend for the Briggs Priestly Calder Valley Sunday League Premier Division clubs.

Clifton Rangers will host Mirfield Town with a place in the Brook Butler semi-final at stake.

The Eddie Hebblethwaite Cup sees FC Panda go to battle with Feathers.

The two sides met earlier in the season at Calderdale College, with the scoreline ending in a 2-2 score draw.

Cock & Bottle will host Division One side Wire Works at Trinity Academy.

The visitors are unbeaten on the road this season and already have several cup wins to their name.

Both FC Hounds and Linthwaite will be in WRCFA Sunday Cup action, facing Colton and Kirkstall Crusaders Academy respectively.

Cock Of The North face FC Panda in Division One, with either side able to go top of the table with a win.

Ravenswharfe have the chance to climb into the automatic promotion places when they travel to Woodhouse.

Thrum Hall have the chance to climb off the bottom when they face fellow struggling side Snowdon.

The two sides met earlier in the season when Snowdon ran out 4-0 winners.

Lee Mount will look to bounce back after losing their perfect start last weekend and they’ll battle it out with Wellington Westgate in the Eddie Hebblethwaite Cup.

It’s a top of the table clash in Division Two as Old Pond welcome Spen FC to Lane Head.

Barum Top look to keep their recent run of good results going when they travel to Old Post Office.

A win for the visitors will see them jump above third place Clifton Rangers Reserves and into the promotion places.

Triangle will try to make it five wins on the bounce and also close that gap to the promotion places when they host struggling Clifton Rangers Athletic.

Battyeford look to make it back-to-back wins against bottom side Inter Batley on Sunday.

Finally, Halifax Rangers welcome Sands Lane to Savile Park. It’s a must win for both sides if they are to avoid the season just petering out.
