Win Meat Loaf tribute tickets
STARS IN their Eyes alumni, Steve Steinman is set to rock Halifax’s Victoria Theatre with his epic musical ‘Anything For Love: The Meat Loaf Story’.
His Halifax show on Friday March 13, is the first date of his 2020 tour, meaning that the people of Calderdale get a chance to see it before the masses.
Joining him on stage is leading lady Lorraine Crosby, who is known for her duet with Meat Loaf on the Grammy Award winning song and Number 1 hit ‘I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)’.
Together they’ll perform iconic hits such as: ‘Two Out of Three Aint Bad’, ‘Dead Ringer for Love’, ‘You Took the Words Right Out of my Mouth’, ‘Paradise by the Dashboard Light’, ‘Bat out of Hell’ and ’It’s all Coming back to Me Now’.
With a full cast of singers, dancers and musicians, the show will have you up on your feet and dancing in the aisles.
Steve Steinman has come a long way since his appearance as Meat Loaf on ITV’s hit TV show Stars In Their Eyes back in 1993.
For the past 27 years Steve has toured all over the world in the hit show The Meat Loaf Story, which he wrote and produced. His journey has taken him to some iconic venues such as Sun City South Africa and the London Palladium.
Whilst on a trip to Vegas Steve had a chance meeting with Paul Crook (Meat Loaf’s guitar player).
Soon Steve and Paul were great friends, leading to a funny and bizarre night out where Steve and Pattie Russo (Meat Loaf ’s Leading Lady) and sang a duet in the car whilst on their way to dinner.
Steve is now recognised as a musical theatre star in his own right, having also written and produced another Rocktastic Musical Concert “Vampires Rock” which has had success all over the world. Over a million people have seen Steve’s productions and it does not look like Steve is ready to slow down any time soon with his Meat Loaf Story tour about to hit the stage once again in his latest production.
