Stephen’s star deal with Arnie
HALIFAX BUSINESSMAN Stephen Oleksewycz says 10 years of work has finally been rewarded after he officially went into business with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Along with strongman Eddie Hall, the duo bring the ‘Arnold Sports Festival’ to the UK, launching at the NEC Birmingham in October 2021.
“This is huge and something I have worked towards for the last 10 years,” said Stephen, “to go into business with Arnold is just a dream come true and I can’t wait to get going.
“I have worked with Arnold six times with my ‘An Experience
With’ company so in turn have built the relationship to get this over the line.
“He needed someone he could trust and he has that now with myself and Eddie Hall.
“The Arnold Sports Festival is an established global brand, already successful in five continents around the world so to bring this to the UK is huge.
“The negotiations have been going on two years, I have flown out to Ohio, LA and Barcelona to advance things.
“Arnie has not yet been to
Halifax, but I have told him all about our beautiful town and he can’t wait to visit.”
The Arnold Sports Festival is an annual multi-sport event consisting of professional bodybuilding, strongman, fitness and figure contests.
The main event is held annually around late February or early March in Columbus, Ohio by the International Federation of BodyBuilding & Fitness.
It is considered one of the most prestigious event in professional men’s and women’s bodybuilding.
Schwarzenegger was a professional bodybuilder before becoming a movie star and politician.
