Hull University 6-4. Goals from Josh Barron, Connor Sutcliffe, Tom Love, Casey Marshall and a brace from Josh Sutcliffe sealed the points.

However, it was keeper Lee Wheatcroft who received the man of the match with several strong saves. The win was not enough to lift the team into the promotion places.

The fourth team lost 5-2 to Bradford but fought back well from a poor start to make it a decent contest. Man of the match was goal scorer Marcus Horner.

After their promotion, the U12s boys protected their place in the higher league with fine outings at Leeds University.

Debutant Isaac Grimes scored the goal in a 1-0 win over Leeds.

After goalless draws against Hull and Doncaster, the team lost 1-0 to York and Leeds Adel but battled well.

Harry Egan-Brook was excellent in goal and Jack Laycock, Oscar Grimes, Ethan Cockcroft, nine- year-old Elliot Rudkin and Elliot Taylor, on debut, all impressed.
