COMMUNITY

The owners of the Prospect Inn pub have been supplying residents and staff at care homes with free meals.

Fantastic couple doing their bit during this national emergency - if everyone would take a leaf out of their book then this whole experience would be easier to bear! Such kind hearted people like these are sadly fewand far between. Well done to you both. True stars. They should be awarded Community Heroes for Halifax.

These guys have been delivering freshly cooked meals to my elderly parents. My dad has Alzheimer’s and I can’t go and help them as much as I would normally, when I explained to them they were straight on it! Absolutely amazing. I will be forever indebted to these guys for stepping up, they truly have hearts of gold.

What a fantastic thing to do. Hopefully people will support them by ordering takeaways from them and visiting their pub when things get back to normal. Well done.

As they are putting themselves out to help the local community, we felt the least we could do was support them in turn. So glad we did. Great food and lovely people. Looking forward to when we can visit the pub.

Thanks for offering a meal to a group of young people with learning disabilities living in Northowram. The group includes my daughter, who has just rung me to say the sausage, mash and veg she had for dinner was really yummy!

It was such a kind thing to do, and much appreciated!
