CHANCELLOR’S NEW PROMISE

POLITICS: Chancellor Rishi Sunak has promised firms a £1,000 bonus for each worker that returns to work from furlough and is employed through to January 2021. He has also announced a “kickstart scheme”, to directly pay businesses to create jobs for 16-24 year olds, and cash for companies who take on trainees and apprentices.
