Launch of online lessons for pupils

YORKSHIRE WATER has launched a range of online educational videos for Key Stage 2 students covering a wide range of topics within the water sector.

The lessons, which are delivered via YouTube, have been designed for teachers whose pupils are at home or in school and come with teacher guidance for each subject, student worksheets and extension activities.

Schools registering to deliver the classes to their students will also be supported by Yorkshire Water’s education advisers, who can provide advice on delivering the online lessons, detailed information about the company and take part in live or recorded student Q&A sessions.

Three lessons – The Water Cycle and States of Matter, Water Catchment and Water Treatment – have been released, with more to come ahead of the new school term in September.
