nothing to help the footfall In town centres...making supermarkets and shopping centres more attractive due to ease of commute and parking!

Kelly Magee

Supermarkets and shops had it totally under control when it was a two metre rule then the government introduced one metre rule which was okay, then they went bringing in this mask ruling but only for certain places.

No wonder the people are in turmoil as sense from the government has totally gone out of the window.

Paul Rochford

Supermarkets will love this, small businesses will feel the brunt. Council needs to re think.

Karen Greenwood

So masks are now compulsory in shops and this silly policy arrives. Together with increased car parking charges council is in town centre destruct mode.

Nick Gregory

Great news, its been amazing seeing all the new cyclists and walkers using the public spaces. Been too car dominated for far too long.

Alan Truman

It’s all based on keeping us all under control..

If not why was Elland Road left all this time throughout lockdown without being fixed.?

Nigel Pettinger

All this will do is drive more people out of the town centre.

Paul Rochford

Hmm, you want us to use the shops but make it more difficult to park. I’m sure I can cycle home while carrying all my shopping bags

Lindsey Beaumont

As I was out on my bike today I got to thinking it’s getting increasingly difficult to find a road that hasn’t got road works controlled by lights or is closed.

Kirklees isn’t much better, still at least route 66 is still passable(cycle way)

Phillip Sanderson

What a waste of money, they are ruining Halifax town centre no wonder people are buying online.
