Not sure that lock down will have a lasting effect on all of them but some will be suffering greatly. Andfromwha­tIcanseeal­ot of parents are taking children of all ages out and about, some taking them on holiday, theme parks, Macdonald’s and many more outings. Dangers are out there as well as schools, children need their friends.

I seem to recall a lot of parents were not going to send their kids back to school until September.

Now September is looming it appears they still won’t be sending them back and have changed their mind. Whatever the government advise it won’t be good enough for some.

I think it should be down to parental choice but if you keep them home then they should be deregister­ed and let other kids take their place that have been waiting for a spot and will attend.

Both my kids will be going back but I might feel a little different if we were not all fit and healthy.
