YOUR PICTURE OF THE WEEK

cannot be maintained forever. If we are not to reverse all these improvements as we move forward, we need to move forward differently.
So many people commute every day to an office to do what can be done at home. I go in one day per week, working four from home, and this has reduced my commuting miles hugely.
This transformation will be difficult. We need to eradicate the digital divide, so everyone can access the technology. People working in a range of sectors will need to retrain into new areas of employment. We need a radical shift to green technologies.
This period has been tough, but we have glimpsed what a more sustainable future could look like. With the correct political leadership, and support from the public, we can have a better, cleaner world.
Williamson, who only last week said he would not apologise for the crazy situation he created, then went on to state the decision to use the algorithm system would not be changed.
Now he reverses his initial decision by allowing teachers to finalise A level grades, and GCSE grades this week, whilst tendering an apology by saying he is “incredibly sorry”. He also refuses to stand down, what a failure he is.
What makes it all even worse is that the Prime Minister, only this week, defended Williamson by stating he fully supported his Education Secretary.
What a ridiculous leader of government Johnson is turning himself into becoming. He has clearly surrounded himself by some useless front bench MPs and yet he can’t see it whilst everyone else can.
He continues to drive a wedge between his government and the country.
The Government, as it stands, is nothing less than shambolic and all because there are weak individuals at the sharp end who are clearly unfit for purpose.
