Agency is first to join network

- Abigail Kellett

HALIFAX-BASED MARKETPLACE agency Venture Forge has been recognised as an ecommerce expert and trusted partner by Amazon, having been accepted into the Amazon Service Provider Network.

The agency is the first of its kind in West Yorkshire to be accepted onto the Amazon Service Provider Network (ASPN) after a rigorous accreditation process. The six-month long vetting procedure required the agency to submit evidence of its Amazon sales growth for clients, verify case studies and undergo scrupulous business checks.

Made up of trusted, authorised third-party experts, the Amazon Service Provider Network aims to take the complexity out of selling on Amazon and to maximise returns for vendors by working with trusted and proven service providers.

To sell effectively on the Amazon platform, sellers need the right tools and expertise to navigate the ever-changing and often complex operational processes. The network offers vendors the chance to access trusted and local Amazon Service Providers to understand the processes while creating operational efficiencies that increase sales and growth.

Joining the network rounds off a record year for the Venture Forge team, with 21 new clients added to the portfolio and existing clients reporting a 450 per cent growth in revenue.

Venture Forge CEO Andrew Banks said: “We are proud to be the first West Yorkshire marketplace agency authorised as an official ASPN provider. Our knowledge and expertise have been evaluated and vetted by Amazon and this marks a major milestone for us. The high street itself and how we shop is changing and it is important for businesses to adapt.”
