Alice Lowe: award winning actress
Alice began her career co-devising and performing surreal experimental theatre with David Mitchell and Robert Webb under the directorship of Paul King, who has since directed her in The Mighty Boosh And Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace.
TV work includes roles in the BAFTA award winning Inside No.9 and the EMMY award winning Black Mirror, Alice has carved out a position at the forefront of British Cinema, starring in Hot Fuzz, The World’s End
Laurence Spellman
Has worked extensively in the theatre, appearing in productions for the Young Vic, Royal Court, National Theatre, RSC and has toured internationally with Cheek By Jowl.

Actress Bethany Asher plays Sarah
Trained by her mother, who runs an acting school in Leicestershire, Bethany’s first TV appearance was a guest lead role in BBC Doctors.
Her performance led to further TV work including CBBC’s The Dumping Ground and ITV drama Wild Bill. Innocence is Bethany’s debut film.
Bethany, who has Down Syndrome, said: “We wanted to show the world what we can do.
“I don’t want to be treated as a little girl any more. I would like to plays lots of different challenging characters.”
Producers Ken Ross and Tibo Travers
Ken is the executive producer of three feature films including the multi-award winning My Feral Heart.
A Trustee for Portsmouth Down Syndrome Association, Ken is dedicated to promoting inclusion for people with Down syndrome in all walks of life and is working with BAFTA, NHS, UCL, NTU and with Parliament to make positive changes happen in many areas.
“Reading the script just made me think this is such a brilliant way all the values I am holding dear and the point I am trying to get across to as wide an audience as possible that people with Down Syndrome really need to be treated and respected in exactly the same way as any one else.”
Tibo is a film producer working across Britain and France in fiction and advertising. He is the founder of Sweetdoh! a production company behind a slate of short films that have screened and been awarded at festivals including Palm Springs, Galway Fleadh, Raindance, Sundance London and Encounters.
“Alice Lowe, Laurence Spellman and Richard Glover really respected the fact that it had great ambitions and wanted to do big things. With all their help I think we managed to craft something unique and hopefully will pave the way for change within the film industry.”
