THE LAST two games have been very hard-fought, not the best to watch footballing-wise but most importantly, we’ve shown character and resilience.

We’ve stuck to the task, got two clean sheets and come away with six points.

Our form is good but we’ve not cracked anything, we’re still having to graft away and there’s loads of areas for improvement.

We’ve not been at our best footballing-wise the last two games but we’ve shown we can get over the line.

A clean sheet for us at the back is like scoring for an attacker, that’s what we work hard for day-in, dayout on the training pitch.

We’re all thrilled and it’s nice for the keeper as well to back him up and help him out.

We don’t really look at the table because it’s not realistic this year, there’s been a lot that’s happened and it doesn’t reflect where everyone’s at.

We can only worry about ourselves, what we do dayin, day-out and if we’re right up there come the end of the season then hopefully we’ll push on.

There’ll be tiredness in every team at the moment because it’s been SaturdayTuesday-Saturday-Tuesday, so there’s no excuses for us.

That’s why we’ve got a squad, to freshen it up, or if lads are tired or feeling niggles or knocks.

We can only concentrate on Eastleigh, they’ve been up to Wrexham on Tuesday night so they’ve had to travel back down.

We’ll take every game as it comes. Our aim is to keep this run going.

We’ve done well over the last five, six games and we’re looking forward to playing Eastleigh.

Personally, I think I’ve kicked on and shown my defensive side as well as my ball-playing skills.

I’m always striving to get better in training and show my worth in games.
