YOUR PICTURE OF THE DAY

Looking towards Anchor Bridge, Brighouse taken by Julia Tum

-

7000 will need to be built on protected Green Belt land.

What changes in legislation allows this to happen and what must be done to ensure Brownfield sites are prioritised?

What proportion of the proposed 15,000 homes will be built on the principles of sustainable living and within the remit of social housing?

A response from the council to these specific points would be much appreciated, as would an overall view from the local Labour Party regarding building on the Green belt. straightened out immediately after crossing Rastrick Bridge over the Calder, cross the canal on a new bridge, and pass through what is currently Owler Ings car park to the roundabout at the bottom of John King (Halifax Road).

So where is our missing bit of road? Has anybody seen it? Is the bridge on the back of a lorry, lost somewhere on the M62?

It is time for this vital link to be built, and to finish Bringroad through your newspaper to the person who deposits the small silver coloured canisters on a weekly basis in Pinfold Lane to try to leave them together as neatly as possible, instead of just scattering them all over the verges and road surface.

It would make it so much easier for me to pick up on my weekly litter picking walk.

To help the unknown person to identify himself as the litterer, I understand they are, used to contain nitrogen oxide, or some such substance.

Thankyou in anticipation of their co-operation.

It would of course help considerably if they disposed of their canisters in their own waste bins.

Perhaps I am asking too much, but we live in hope.

A response from the council to specific points would be appreciated
