THE GAMES have been coming thick and fast so for us to dig in away from home like we did at Yeovil was fantastic.

Obviously it came off the back of a disappointment on Saturday, we felt we’d played well but couldn’t get the result.

So to go away from home and play like we did, in conditions like they were, was fantastic.

The conditions played a massive part, first-half we were against the wind but we defended really well, clearing our lines

Certainly after

Christmas, what was coming from the management staff was that we just had to keep going, not get too disheartened from bad results and don’t get too excited when we win games.

When we have had a set back, we’ve reacted really well. Everybody’s back now, everybody’s chomping at the bit to play a part, and the manager’s used the squad really well and is getting the best out of the lads.

We’ve just got to concentrate on ourselves and just keep going, keep collecting as many points as we can, keep our form going.

There’s tension that comes with any game, you want to play well, and that’ll be no different now, it’s just that added incentive that we’ve put ourselves in a really good position, let’s give it out best shot and see what happens.

As boring as it sounds, we’ve just got to concentrate on ourselves and make sure we’re in the right frame of mind going into games

You want to be going into every game with a bit of form, it probably wasn’t our smoothest performance against Yeovil, but we dug deep and showed we’ve got various styles to our game, and that we can stand up and be counted for as well as getting the ball down and cutting teams open

Probably at this stage, it’s about getting as many points as you can so I guess people aren’t too fussed about performances.
