- Sta ff Reporter

GREETLAND MAY have secured the ENCO Halifax League Division Two title but going into the last weekend of the season, the Premiership and Division One title races are wide open and promotion places are also up for grabs.

The Premier Division title race was blown wide open at The Astley’s where SBCI routed former league leaders Triangle by nine wickets.

Mytholmroyd now find themselves at the top of the tree with just one game to go.

In their trip to Bradshaw, also in a battle but at the opposite end of the table, Royd dismissed their opponents for just 39 after posting 187.

Booth are clinging on to a hope of their fourth title in six years after defeating Blackley by 54 runs at Broad Fold Park.

Sowerby Bridge defeated bottom side Shelf Northowram HT by 95 runs and are one place above Bradshaw, now second bottom of the table.

Division One high flyers Luddendenfoot imploded at home to Low Moor HT, scoring just 49 in a six-wicket loss.

They travel to new leaders Great Horton Park Chapel on Saturday in a winner-takes-all clash at Ewart Street.

Chapel saw off the challenge of fellow title hopefuls Sowerby St Peter’s last weekend, crafting a response of 228-7 after Saints posted 189-9.

Bottom two Upper Hopton and Mount played for pride as both sides will be in Division Two next season.

Hopton’s total of 181 all out proved to hot for Mount who came up short on 123.

Greetland clinched the Division Two crown with a nervy three wicket success at home to Southowram.

Stones beat second-placed Bradley and Colnebridge in a thriller at Swift Cross where Bradley posted 170 all out.

In reply, Stones battled to 1749 to see the hosts home and give them a last game chance of promotion.
