similar at morning break would help with this. Most children are hungry by then even if they have had breakfast.

Nothing.

Vickie Kelly

My daughter very rarely eats breakfast before school, but we have tons of it in the cupboard and always will.

I’ve explained to my daughter, she’s only 6, the importance of having breakfast, and also that it’s not like she could just grab something at school whatever time she pleases she would have to wait till dinner time. I think it’s a good thing school provide bagels etc because when my daughter has seen other kids grabbing one she will, but it’s not because I’ve been up late to provide her breakfast or I can’t afford breakfast.

Donna Jane Handforth

They should bring back the milk that kids used to get.

Chris Lee Measor

I don’t eat first thing in the morning and some children are the same. Give some to take to school to eat later in the day.

Pauline Boyce

I never used to eat before school, was perfectly fine waiting until lunch time.

RESTAURANT TIPS

A new law will ban restaurants from taking customer tips or service charge payments from their workers. How much do you usually tip?

I’ve always been a generous tipper. I appreciate good service and I know waiting staff are generally underpaid, and have been there myself.

Tim Tubbs

10-20 per cent, depends if the service is good.

Anne Tetley

We always try and tip our server direct.

Beverly Golesworthy

However much I think the service was worth.

Neale Deacon

10-20 per cent but nothing if service is substandard.
