Greetland and Red Star lock horns in tasty top-of-the-table Premier match

-

PREMIER DIVISION leaders Greetland host third place Hebden Royd Red Star in game that looks set to be a key encounter, even at this stage of the season.

Red Star are proving to be unpredictable but are one point adrift of the leaders, who have been consistent and yet to concede in their first four games.

Second-placed Shelf United take on St Columbas, whose form has dipped and Shelf will see this as a game to strengthen their title challenge.

Sowerby United have been in good form recently and despite home advantage may find it tough going against near neighbours Sowerby Bridge.

Denholme United are leading the way in Division One but could face their toughest test so far when they visit Calder 76.

Ivy House are three points adrift of the leaders having one game in hand. They will be looking to take advantage of any slip from the leaders by taking the points from their clash with Midgley United.

Flying Dutchman are still without a league win. They will be looking to correct that when they host Northowram.

Shelf FC are the leaders in Division

Two and have lost only one of their six games. Their visitors are Sowerby United Reserves who lost for the first time last week.

Sowerby Bridge Reserves are in great form with player-manager Damian Watkins scoring seven in the last two outings.

Greetland Reserves are next up for the Bridge in what could be a close affair.

Warley Rangers are the only undefeated side in the division and they host Thornton CC.

St Columbas Reserves take on bottom of the table Calder 76 Reserves.
