THE HALIFAX Panthers are inviting their fans to a premier party at the Shay to coincide with their Premier Sports televised debut in Monday’s clash with Leigh Centurions.

The more fans who attend the game, the more access to RFL funding the club will receive so Panthers have launched a number of incentives to attract fans to the stands on Monday night.

Adult tickets for home and away supporters will cost just £10 while under-16s can see the game for free.

All of the youth community rugby league teams in Halifax will benefit from two adult and unlimited children for £20. £5 from every club ticket purchased will go directly back to the community club.

A club statement said: “The community clubs are the heart and soul of the rugby league community in Halifax. We want to give back to the local clubs and show them they can play for their hometown team just like the home-grown talents of

James Saltonstall, Ed Barber Zack McComb, Will Calcott, Jacob Fairbank, Ben Kavanagh and Greg Worthington, who have all progressed through the ranks, having started out in community clubs.”

Community engagement officer Jack Duffy will be visiting schools in Calderdale on a World Cup on tour and talking about the history of the tournaments. Each school will also receive free tickets for the evening’s match.

A bigger and better fanzone opens at 5.45pm with pre-match entertainment, inflatable games, fireworks, live music, face painting, new food outlets and much more.

Keeping with the £10 theme, the club shop is also offering a one-day sale with £10 off all hoodies and jackets, available in the club shop and pop-up shop behind the South Stand. The offer will also be available online from 10am to 10pm.

The club said: “We want to create an environment that keeps you wanting to come back for more. Bring the family, tell your friends, let’s make Monday, March 21 a night to remember!”
