Clients have a close bond with adhesives firm
AN ELLAND business is set to mark its 20th anniversary with a presentation to long-serving staff.
Bond It is one of the country’s biggest independent manufacturers of building chemicals and employs over 150 staff.
Four employees who have worked there for 20 years will be celebrated at the presentations, as will seven staff who have worked there for 15 years, and 12 staff who have worked there for ten years.
The company manufactures over 600 products for the building and construction industry.
David Moore, CEO of the
Bond It Group, said the firm has reached their 20th anniversary by providing a high level of customer service and ensuring customers’ needs are met.
”We have invested in manufacturing equipment and facilities, extended our technical capabilities, we have a flat management structure so that decisions can be taken quickly when required and extended our supply and manufacturing capabilities into North America,” he said. “We have adapted quickly to meet changes in the building sector from a small-scale manufacturing business to a business that manufactures the majority of its core product range.”
The business expanded from occupying just one unit at Lowfields Business Park in Elland to now occupying four buildings there.
Mr Moore added: “We have long-standing supply relationships with customers over two decades. These key customers continue to grow and Bond It will tailor its own plans to ensure we meet our customers requirements into the future. We will target new customers, introduce new products, look towards improving existing product ranges in addition to seeking more sustainable product options going forward. There will be further investment in facilities and equipment.”
Bond It are also celebrating their milestone by having a TCR racing car on site, which they are sponsoring for for this year’s touring car season starting in April.
