Glazing and building business wins top award
A Larkhall double glazing and construction firm have scooped yet another award.
Clyde Windows and Construction, who are based at Block 2, Unit 10, Larkhall Industrial Estate, were recently announced as Best Double Glazing and Conservatory build company in Scotland at the Acquisition International Awards.
The contest included double glazing and construction firms with over 50 employees from around Scotland.
The winner was decided by a collective of votes and comments from clients and scores from Acquisition International’s own team who carried out a full review of the five firms that made it into the final.
The firm won the same category at the 2015, Scottish Home Improvement Awards. Dax Duckett Managing Director of the firm said: “Winning this coveted award makes us all very proud as we believe that this accolade is a testament to our employees’ hard work and dedication towards our end product which is quality goods and high quality service for every one of our clients.
“I have spent some time this week explaining to our staff that this trophy is for every employee in our great team - from the fabrication team in our manufacturing facility in Larkhall as well as our office staff, surveyors who meet and assist clients and installers who actually carry out our installations, along with our other tradesmen all of whom who are directly employed.
“Winning this award category will be a great boost to our staff morale as all of our employees combined have given us the great name and reputation that we have. However, winning this award will also give our business a great accolade and also give us something to aim for, hopefully retaining the title next year as this would also allow employees to appreciate for themselves the fact that they are doing a great job.”
