Around the world in buffet dishes at Phileas Fogg diner
Phileas Fogg, Wishaw’s newest around-theworld restaurant, opens this month, June.
Inspired by the classic Jules Verne novel, Around the World in 80 Days, the restaurant offers a range of entrées, main courses, desserts, lunches and snacks, representing global cuisine.
Phileas Fogg invite you to follow the explorers’ spirit of its lead character and try new dining experiences from destinations such as Europe, Asia, America, and, of course, Great Britain at the buffet restaurant.
Brought to you by the team behind the successful Tribeca Group, the menu is packed with recognisable favourites alongside more lesser-known delicacies.
The company already have a portfolio of restaurants specialising in many different cuisines and styles of cooking, and Phileas Fogg staff have spent considerable time training in these to ensure the food offered is authentic, fresh, of high quality and consistently tasty.
The stunning restaurant is truly a family affair.
The warm, inviting main restaurant can accommodate large family groups as easily as quiet tables for two for date nights.
For little adventurers, an entire floor has been dedicated to a custom-designed soft play area, complete with its own café.
The stylish three-level venue also incorporates a courtyard beer garden, separate bar, and private function rooms accommodating up to 50 people for kids’ parties, as a meeting venue, or for private celebrations.
The six-figure sum regeneration of the former picture house brings 50 jobs to the town too, and the management were keen to offer these positions to local residents as part of their commitment to the area.
The focus is all about an overall dining experience which the community of Wishaw and also from surrounding North Lanarkshire can enjoy - tell their friends about. then
