After overcoming her initial fear, she gets to know the 24-foottall, big-eared man and finds out that, unlike the other, childeating giants, he is a vegetarian who makes it his mission to bring good dreams to the children of the world.
As the two feast on snozzcumber and frobscottle, their friendship grows. But little girls aren’t typical residents of Giant Country, and the other giants begin to stir up even more trouble than usual.

In this Disney take on Roald Dahl’s classic children’s novel, superstar director Steven Spielberg (Schindler’s List) teams up with renowned stage actor Mark Rylance, who voices the BFG. The supporting cast includes fresh face Ruby Barnhill as Sophie, and comedy talent in the form of Bill Hader (Saturday Night Live) and Jemaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords) as the bully giants.
