The couple
Lisa, from Burnbank, works as a dispensing assistant with Boots Pharmacy. Groom Kevin, from Blantyre, is an electrical technician with Aker Solutions.
Where they met
Lisa and Kevin met at The Tap Room, Hamilton, in 2008 where Lisa was working at the time.
The wedding
The ceremony was held at St Joseph’s Church on June 11, 2016. Their reception, at The Parkville, was attended by 170 family and friends.
Attire
The bride wore Erin by Ronald Joyce From Bijoux in Hamilton, while the Groom and groomsmen wore Scottish Spirit tartan from Gilt Edged in Glasgow. The bridesmaids wore True Bride from Ederra,blantyre.
Bridal party
Maid of Honour was Kevin’s daughter Erin Rose Mcgurk and the bridesmaids were Lucy Morgan, Sarah Mcgurk, Louise Ballantyne and Lindsay Brogan. Pageboy was Kaiden Mcgurk, best man was Paul Summers and ushers were Jamie Welsh, Michael Mcgurk, John Mcgurk and Daniel Mcgurk.
Honeymoon
The newlyweds travelled to Corfu, Greece.
