Hamilton dancer relished performing with idol
A Hamilton schoolgirl could not“beliebe”her luck after she landed herself a spot on stage with Justin Bieber on Sunday night.
St John Ogilvie High pupil Molly Ryan got an email from the superstar’s management team to confirm that she had been chosen to join the him in front of thousands at his sell-out Purpose World Tour Scottish gig at the SSE Hydro.
The talented 11-year-old was ecstatic to find out the video of her dancing caught the eye of the Canadian musical icon’s choreography team.
Molly, who attends street dance classes in Glasgow, said: “My brother filmed me and sent off the video.
“I couldn’t found out.”
And the youngster had the time on her life when she danced on stage with the pop star.
Molly headed along to the SSE Hydro on Sunday night for believe it when
Irehearsals and was starstruck when she noticed Justin playing football with some of the youngsters who had been selected to dance on stage with him.
Her dad Paul explained: “Molly had a great time. They were in for rehearsals when they noticed a guy passing around a football and then realised it was Justin himself.
“Molly then joined Justin on stage. She definitely had a great time, it was a wonderful experience for her.”
The email that Molly received from Bieber’s team read: “Congratulations Molly, you’ve been selected out of thousands of submissions to join Justin Bieber on stage for the Purpose Tour in Glasgow.
“I’ll wait while you scream... Okay. Deep breath. This is really happening!” Justin played his three sell-out shows in Glasgow to a 13,000 strong crowd each night.
