All fright on the night as party raises £758

Ferniegair Gala Committee held a successful ladies’ night Halloween Party on Friday, October 28 to raise funds for the annual gala day.

The event was a great success with in excess of 100 ladies in attendance.

The gala committee would like to thank the residents who came along to support the event and helped to raise £758 towards gala funds.

Ferniegair Gala Day has been an annual event held in the village for 41 years and the gala committee are keen to keep the tradition and community spirit alive.

The gala committee are looking for residents to become involved in helping to organise the fundraisin­g events and the gala day.

Forthcomin­g events in Fernegair include: Remembranc­e service, Ferniegair Cenotaph (village hall) at 11am on November 13; Children’s Christmas Party on December 17, 1-3pm.

Tickets will be issued for the Christmas party on a strictly first-come. first-served basis as numbers are limited.

The Easter ladies’ fundraiser is still to be confirmed.
