The couple

Debbie, from Larkhall, works as a secretariat with Guild of Cleaners and Launderers. Groom Matthew, from East Kilbride, is a technical sales manager with CCL Components LTD.

Where they met

Debbie and Matthew met while both working in Morrison’s, Stewartfield East Kilbride in 2006.

The wedding

The ceremony was held at Western House Hotel in Ayr on June 17, 2016, and was attended by 90 family and close friends. The reception was attended by a further 110 guests at the hotel.

Attire

The bride wore Danielle by Mori Lee from Bijoux Bridal Boutique, while Matthew wore Spirit of Lochearn from Kilts 4 U.

Bridal party

Bridesmaids were Debbie’s sister Nicola Paterson and best friend Ashley Falconer, flower girls were the couple’s daughter Eilidh and niece Skye, with pageboys the couple’s son Lewis and nephew Logan. Best men were Matthew’s brothers Stephen and Jonathan Mccrimmond and ushers were best friend Martin Flood and nephew Dean.

Honeymoon

The newlyweds decided to spend time with Debbie’s family from Canada who were over visiting for the wedding.
