Scrum on down and volunteer with Bulls

- Andy Mcgilvray

Hamilton Rugby Club are looking for volunteers to help out with their growing youth section.

The Laigh Bent club have teams out at various age groups right up to the senior squad, but need help to keep everything running smoothly.

Hamilton are looking for volunteers in every level in the youth section, which is: coaches, team managers and administrators, first-aiders, referees, touch judges, camera operators (for home games),twitter administrators, match data recorders, match reporters, kit washers, and catering helpers for home matches.

For some of the roles (coaching, first aid and team manager etc) volunteers would need to complete the PVG Scheme ahead of starting, but for others, people just need to be keen.

Anyone who wants to volunteer, and thinks specific skills from their day job can help to improve things at Hamilton, is welcome to come forward – all help will be appreciated.

A club spokesperson said:“all of the things people can do as volunteers will help us to make the players and support team get ahead of the opposition and provide the best environment for rugby development.

“If you are interested please send a quick note to the Youth Committee confirming the type of role you would want to help with, or speak to the relevant age group team manager.”

For more information contact the club on 01698 200021 or email youthcommittee@ hamiltonrugbyclub. co.uk.
