The wedding of Claire Hannon and John Stewart

The couple

Claire and John are both from Hamilton. Claire works as a photographer and John is a heating engineer. Both are self-employed.

How they met

Claire and John got together in October 2010 at a Hallowe’en party after being friends for many years.

The ceremony

The ceremony was held at the Brig O’doon House Hotel in Ayrshire on Sunday, September 25, attended by over 200 family and friends.

Attire

Claire wore a Madison James gown from Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo bridal boutique, East Kilbride, while John wore the Glen Carron tweed kilt from Burnside Kilt Co, Falkirk.

Bridal party

Bridesmaids were Claire’s two best friends and sister-in-laws Caireen and Sharon. Flower girls were Marah and Rhea, Claire and John’s daughters, along with their nieces Mya, Amy, Eva and Gemma. Pageboys were Claire and John’s son Dylan and their nephew Jackson.

Best men were John’s two best friends Michael and David with ushers Martin, Paul, Lee, Mark, Keith, Alan and wee Paul.

Honeymoon

The couple travelled to Tenerife for five days child-free!
