Win a romantic trip to London for Valentine’s Day
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, the Hamilton Advertiser are launching our third annual selfie competition for couples.
We are running the competition in conjunction with Hamilton Business Improvement District (BID) and the Holiday and Flight Centre based at 38-40 Quarry Street, Hamilton.
The prize this year is a fantastic weekend for two to London worth £500. To enter, simply send in a selfie of you with your partner. The winner will be decided in an online vote on our website at www. hamiltonadvertiser.co.uk.
Selfies can be uploaded to the Hamilton Advertiser Facebook page (either publicly or by private message) or tweeted to @ Hamadvofficial using the hash tag #heartinhamilton.
You can also email your selfies to news@hamiltonadvertiser. co.uk with #heartinhamilton in the subject bar.
The Holiday and Flight Centre offer a range of romantic breaks which couples can enjoy this Valentine’s Day.
They offer some great deals and their friendly Hamilton-based staff will help tailor the perfect package for you.
And for those couples staying at home this Valentine’s Day, Hamilton is full of great restaurants and venues to enjoy a romantic celebration.
Gareth Walker, BID manager, is looking forward to seeing this year’s entries.
He said: “Hamilton BID are delighted to be pairing up with Holiday and Flight Centre, Hamilton, again this year to bring local lovebirds a special Valentine’s Day treat!”
The winners will be able to choose their own dates of travel and which hotel to stay in, on what board basis, up to a value of £500. The holiday must be booked with the Holiday and Flight Centre in Hamilton.
Entries will be accepted until Tuesday, February 7, at 4pm.
We will be running a selection of entries in the paper next week and the following week.
The online vote will be opened on Thursday, February 9, and you will be able to vote for your favourite picture until noon on Tuesday, February 14.
The winner will be revealed in on Thursday, February 16 edition.
To enter you must be aged 18 or over and live in Lanarkshire.
The holiday must be taken within six months of the winner being announced.
