Probus Club Thanks to a generous travel grant from South Lanarkshire Council more then 40 members, friends and partners of the Strathaven and District Probus Club had a coach outing to Edinburgh. The journey to Edinburgh took an unusual route, down the M74, across to the A70 taking in the scenic beauty of South Lanarkshire, the Borders and the Lothians, coming into the capital from the south. Some travellers chose to use the outing to indulge in a little “retail therapy”, starting in the Grassmarket; others to have a conducted tour of the Scottish Parliament and some a visit to the Palace of Holyrood House.
