Horticultural accolade

Uddingston Pride chairman Liz Wilson was recently awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society, the premier organisation for horticulturalists in Scotland.

The certificate was in recognition of her “outstanding contribution”to the work of Uddingston Pride in enhancing the appearance of Uddingston since the group was formed in 2000.

The award is given to only a very few people each year.

In accepting her award, Liz praised her Uddingston Pride colleagues, who she said were a great team, and thanked them for their support over the years.
