Our 10am service on Sunday, March 26 (4th In Lent ), will be conducted by our Interim Moderator, Reverend Alasdair Gordon. We warmly welcome everyone who comes through our open door.

In the afternoon our Outreach Team will conduct an informal service in Aberglen Care Home at 2pm which is very much appreciate­d by residents and staff.

Our new venture The Memories Tearoom will be open on Thursday, March 30, between the hours of 1pm and 3pm. We look forward to welcoming anyone living with a diagnosis of dementia along with their carer.

There will be a time to relax and chat over a cup of tea or coffee. Staff from Udston Hospital, Alzheimer’s Scotland and Lanarkshir­e Carers Network will be on hand for anyone in need of advice. This invitation is open to all so please come along a wee bit company really helps to lift your spirits.

Memorial Parish Church

and join us, you will be made most welcome. The St Machan’s Walking Group will meet on Tuesday, March 28, at 10.30am behind the church in Marshall Street.

During the afternoon of Tuesday, March 28, the Friendship Circle will meet at 2pm for their final meeting of the session. The guest speaker will be George Downie. This meeting is for anyone living in Larkhall who wishes to come along and enjoy a couple of hours of entertainm­ent through, music, speakers and much more. On the evening of Tuesday, March 28, Genesis Youth Club will meet in the Church Hall.

This club is for young people aged between 11 years and 15. The programme for the year includes Games nights, guest speakers, quiz nights, Ten Pin Bowling, BBQ and Genesis Got Talent There is a £2 nightly fee. The youth club meets on every second and fourth Tuesday of the month from August until May at 7.30pm in the church hall. Entry is by the back entrance to the church. Why not go along and have some fun and make new friends.
