Reality show brings back the glamour
Online reality show GLOW, starring Hamilton’s James Drummond and Uddingston’s Denise Wilkie, is back this week.
They have been out and about across Lanarkshire and the west filming scenes for season.
And Lesley Batchelor, owner of Hamilton’s Deja Elite Boutique, welcomed the cast to a catwalk fundraiser for Lanarkshire Cancer Care Trust last weekend.
Lesley said:“i was thrilled to have the support of the GLOW reality TV show cast this year. The lovely Stephanie Rankin, Jemma Mcmahon and Denise Wilkie even joined our modelling team alongside Miss GB 20015/16 beauty queen Deone Robertson.”
The event, which raised £4000, took place at Dalziel Park Hotel with the cameras filming the day.
Lesley added:“this annual charity day is a huge event in the boutique’s calendar. We spend months preparing outfits, arranging make up teams and gaining the loyal support of our lovely models who really look forward to the day.
“I would like to thank Lanarkshire Cancer Care Trust for asking us along, Justine Wilson for providing fabulous entertainment on the day, Gina Mckie for hosting the event, the cast of GLOW for joining us and our wonderful model and hair/ make up team for donating their time and skills.”
Charity trustee Margaret Wragg aid:“this show has become a staple event, one that our guests look forward to. The models are from all walks of life and they gracefully showcased the beautiful and unique outfits.”
