Big race night fun
The Hamilton Advertiser has partnered with Hamilton Park Racecourse to give away tickets to the show-stopping 2017 season at the awardwinning venue.
Readers have the chance to win a pair of tickets for each of the 18 exciting fixtures, and up next is the Braveheart Night with Big Vern ‘n’ The Shootahs on Friday, May 19.
The second Premier 5 event of the season, and 2017’s first evening racenight, is set to be a great mix of top quality racing and Scottish entertainment.
On the track there is a prize pot of £68,000 – and look out for the highlight £25,000 Braveheart Handicap Stakes (Class 3).
After the racing action, enjoy soul classics from legendary Glasgow band Big Vern ’n’ the Shootahs, plus Highland dancing and piping.
Gates open at 3.30pm on the day, with thoroughbred action getting underway at 5.55pm.
