Blantyre is buzzing

Bonnie the Bee and her pals have been out in force, promoting the new Bonnie Blantyre campaign.

The initiative aims to get people in Blantyre outside, exploring the beauty on their doorsteps and taking action to fix the things that could be bonnier.

The bees have also given away more than 200 sunflower plants to launch the How Tall Is Yours sunflower growing competition.

Bonnie wants people to name their sunflowers, water them, watch them grow and share photos with her online.

You don’t need one of her sunflowers to take part, you can grow your own.
