Starting in July, the group are going to hold a monthly tea dance. If anyone is interested in attending or volunteering at this event let the group know.
A new computer class for beginners will start at the end of July alongside the new genealogy group. Give the group a call for more information.
The gardening group are having a bread making demonstration on Wednesday, June 28, at 10am. The walking group is still marching out every Tuesday. On June 27 they are heading to Kirkintilloch.
Volunteers can make a morning call between 9am and 10am, Monday to Friday, to make sure people are OK. For more information speak to Karen
The handyperson service is available to all older people in and around Larkhall. This service is for small non-emergency jobs such as turning a mattress, putting up a towel rail or hanging curtains and does not include any professional services. Speak to Karen.
The group are looking for volunteer drivers to take people to and from lunch clubs, take groups out and about and help with hires from other local groups.
The group also offer volunteering opportunities in other areas, eg lunch clubs, handyperson, call line, events, fundraising.
