- Andy Mcgilvray

Uddingston rally co-driver Stuart Loudon has a busy three weeks ahead as he juggles motorsport with a full-time job.

Loudon will start by codriving for Tom Preston at the Ypres Rally in Belgium, which runs from today (Thursday) until Saturday, he will arrive back in Scotland on Monday to go back to work at Tunnock’s, and then flies out to join the M-sport World Rally team for their assault on Rally Poland.

This week Stuart will codrive for Preston at the classic Belgian event, joining him aboard his Skoda Fabia R5, run by reigning British Rally Championship team, Carlisle-based CA1 Sport.

Stuart said: “It is going to be a hectic few weeks, but I really can’t wait to get stuck in.

“Priority number one is, and always has been, codriving.

“For one reason or another I haven’t done enough of that this year, but I will be with Tom for the next two rounds of the British Rally Championships, which is Ypres and the Nicky Grist Stages in Wales.

“It’s fantastic to competing again.” be out
