Race for tickets at music festival

Fun Lovin’criminals to headline event

Music fans are being urged to rock on down to Hamilton Park Racecourse as the venue announces an iconic headline act for their Music Festival Racenight.

Fun Lovin’ Criminals, fronted by the inimitable Huey Morgan, will give thousands of guests a rare chance to hear classic tunes like Scooby Snacks and The Fun Lovin’ Criminal live on Saturday, September 2.

The New Yorkers burst onto the worldwide music scene in 1996 with their debut album, Come Find Yourself, and are known for their unique blend of rock, funk and hip-hop.

Indie rock band Cast have also been announced and will be performing music from their new album Kicking up the Dust, as well as hits from the 1990s like Walkaway and Fine Time.

Fresh from a host of European festival tour dates, the multi-platinum Fun Lovin’ Criminals will perform live at the grand finale of Hamilton Park’s ground-breaking Super Saturday series.

A first in UK racing, the Super Saturday events offer Hamilton racegoers an allday experience with entertainm­ent followed by live evening racing, and further entertainm­ent until late.

Paisley’s finest, The Vegan Leather, will also rock the venue alongside an array of talented musicians, before and after racing with the main stage, kicking off from noon with live music right through to 11pm.

The event promises visitors a unique experience of live music and top class racing, set against the stunning backdrop of Hamilton Park Racecourse.

Gates to the action packed, day-long event open at noon, with a thrilling racecard to match the festival line-up including the £20,000 BB Foodservic­e Hamilton Park 2yo Series Final (Class 2) feature race.

The event runs from noon to 11pm with the first race at 4.15pm.
