A Hamilton art duo are showcasing their popular exhibition Hers ‘n’ His for the seventh time.
Jim Jordan and Lillias Douglas are collaborating once again to present some of their work at the Hers ’n’ His exhibition at Chatelherault Country Park in the Cadzow Gallery.
The exhibition is a free event and will run from Monday, July 31 until Monday, August 14.
The opening hours are from 10am until 5pm and everyone is welcome to go along and admire some of the talented duo’s latest creations.
Jim, the former chairman of the Hillhouse Spectrum art group, is very excited about his seventh collaboration with Lillias.
He said: “Our previous exhibitions have been well received by the public, so Lillias and I are both looking forward to working together once again.
“This time we will have quite a lot of new pieces using new techniques which we are really excited to showcase.
“We have both exhibited quite widely locally and further afield, and are pleased to present our latest work in Chatelherault and for two whole weeks.”
The pair produce a range of pieces based on local themes and scenes.
Both artists use vibrant colour and shape and are interested in using a variety of materials, incorporating pastel and colouring pencils as well as paint.
Lillias tends to works in acrylic paint on floral themes and landscapes with a Scottish flair.
And Jim’s paintings are characterised by use of vibrant colour and light.
