Our genealogy group is now up and running and on Monday, August 14, at 1pm we are having a Presentation and Talk from the Lanarkshire Family History Society.

The topic will be‘starting Your Family Tree’and will include – How to get started, Where to find information, Local Archives and other sources, and How to record your findings. Anyone interested in attending is most welcome and should get in touch.

Our new course of Computers for Complete Beginners has just started and we have a couple of spaces left. This class takes place on a Monday from 1pm to 3pm and if you would like to join, just give us a call.

The ever-enthusiastic walking group are heading out in the direction of Largs next week. Why not join us? Booking essential.

A trip to the Ayr Flower Show is on the cards for our Gardening Group on Saturday, August 19. There are a few seats left on the bus for any keen gardeners who would like to join us. Call for details. Booking essential.

Exercise your way to a healthy life by coming along to our easy classes on Thursdays at 9.15am for the early birds or Friday at 1pm if you’d prefer an afternoon activity.

Volunteering is proven to improve your wellbeing so why not try it out. We are looking for enthusiastic caring individuals who would like to join our growing organisation, helping older people re-engage in the community. We have a variety of opportunities but at the moment are particularly in need of drivers willing to drive our minibuses taking people to and from events.
