Take a break with a cuppa and help support big coffee morning
Macmillan Cancer Support’s Hamilton fundraising group will hold their annual World’s Biggest Morning event next week.
Cadzow Parish Church will host the fundraiser on Friday, September 15, between 10am and noon.
Entry is £3 and children will get in for free. The event will include a tombola, craft stall with handmade goods and Macmillan Cancer Support Christmas cards.
Tea/coffee and home baking will also be served along with lots of friendly chat and good company.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer.
Get along to Cadzow Parish, in Hamilton’s Woodside Walk, to help the volunteers raise some much-needed cash.
The Hamilton Fundraising Group of Macmillan Cancer Support recently marked their 30-year anniversary, and during that time they have raised £550,000.
They have set themselves the challenge of raising £30,000 for their 30th year, with help from the people of Hamilton.
All money raised by the group is used to support people and their families in Lanarkshire who are living with, or beyond, cancer.
The group have a busy calendar of fundraising events for the rest of 2017 and would be delighted to hear from anyone willing to spare a few hours, two or three times in the year.
