Hamilton Townswomens’ Guild welcomed members to the first meeting of the autumn session last Monday, September 4.

They gathered in Low Waters Hall, Elliot Crescent, and speaker Marjory Robertson’s topic was ‘The World in Miniature.’ She displayed some of her own miniature collection and also showed slides depicting the history of miniature model making.

The vote of thanks was given by chairperson Sheena Macdonald.

The next meeting is on Monday, October 2, and speaker Jim Percival will discuss the island of St Kilda.

All ladies will be made most welcome.
