Register online for university open days
Prospective students have the chance to find out more about University of the West of Scotland’s range of undergraduate courses when the Hamilton campus hosts two open days.
Not only will information on the undergraduate study options be covered, but visitors will have the chance to find out about the significant investment in teaching and learning, IT and facilities.
The open days are next Wednesday, September 20, between 4pm and 9pm, followed by Saturday, October 28, between 11am and 1pm.
Jessica Dunn, University of the West of Scotland’s student recruitment team leader, said: “Our Scottish campus open days are hugely important, providing prospective students and their advisors with information on the full range of options available at UWS, so that they can make an informed choice about their future studies.”
This year’s National Student Survey saw four UWS courses – Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, Physics and Law & Business – all come top in the UK for overall satisfaction.
In addition, UWS was ranked in the world’s top 200 universities under 50 years of age in the Times Higher Education Young University Rankings 2017.
And 94 per cent of UWS students are in work or further study six months after graduating.
The open day events will give prospective students the opportunity to speak to staff about existing and new course developments, discuss their career interests, and discover more about the facilities.
“These events will also provide an opportunity for visitors to find out more about important funding information to help them prepare for their future study.”
