Inspectors’glowing report
Sheltered housing support services across South Lanarkshire have received glowing reports following their most recent inspections.
The council’s services were graded ‘very good’across all three themes: Quality of care and support; Quality of staffing;
Quality of management and leadership.
Reports from the Care Inspectorate included positive feedback from tenants.
Inspectors attended the sheltered housing tenants conference in October 2016, visited local complexes, spoke with tenants and staff and reviewed the feedback from tenants’questionnaires. Inspectors highlighted a number of key strengths of the service including very high levels of appreciation by the tenants using it.
South Lanarkshire Council’s head of housing services Annette Finnan said:“it is reassuring to hear that our support service is making a real difference to tenants’lives.”
