Goal-den chance to help out charity

The Motherwell branch of Keyline raised a fantastic £570 for Prostate Cancer UK during their inaugural Keyline Motherwell Charity Cup which took place at Dalziel Park.

A team of staff and customers took on a side representi­ng City Plumbing Wishaw, and dominated the game, winning the match 13-6.

Laura Pullen, branch manager at Keyline Motherwell, commented:“this was the first time the Keyline Motherwell Charity Cup has taken place, but as it was such a success we are going to make it an annual event.

“A huge thank you to our customers and suppliers who were part of the match and helped us raised a great amount of money for Prostate Cancer UK.

“A special mention must also go to Jarvis Land Services who kindly supplied the kits.”

Prostate Cancer UK is Keyline’s nominated charity and the civils and heavy building materials supplier will be holding various fundraisin­g events throughout the year. The money raised will help the charity continue their ground-breaking research so they can achieve their aim of stopping men dying from prostate cancer.
