Goal-den chance to help out char­ity

The Mother­well branch of Key­line raised a fan­tas­tic £570 for Prostate Can­cer UK dur­ing their in­au­gu­ral Key­line Mother­well Char­ity Cup which took place at Dalziel Park.

A team of staff and cus­tomers took on a side rep­re­sent­ing City Plumb­ing Wishaw, and dom­i­nated the game, win­ning the match 13-6.

Laura Pullen, branch man­ager at Key­line Mother­well, com­mented:“this was the first time the Key­line Mother­well Char­ity Cup has taken place, but as it was such a suc­cess we are go­ing to make it an an­nual event.

“A huge thank you to our cus­tomers and sup­pli­ers who were part of the match and helped us raised a great amount of money for Prostate Can­cer UK.

“A spe­cial men­tion must also go to Jarvis Land Ser­vices who kindly sup­plied the kits.”

Prostate Can­cer UK is Key­line’s nom­i­nated char­ity and the civils and heavy build­ing ma­te­ri­als sup­plier will be hold­ing var­i­ous fundrais­ing events through­out the year. The money raised will help the char­ity con­tinue their ground-break­ing re­search so they can achieve their aim of stop­ping men dy­ing from prostate can­cer.
