School elects a top team
There was election fever as St Blane’s Primary School in Blantyre last week as they elected their new Pupil Leadership team.
After a week of campaigning and voting by pupils and staff, St Blane’s are proud to present their Pupil Leadership team for 2017/2018.
Head boy is Daniel Marenghi with Head Girl Niamh Balfour.
Depute Head Boy is Cameron Gallagher and Depute Head Girl is Cara Donnelly.
The school’s four House Captains were also elected and are Josie Muir, Kaden Coulter, Neve Campbell and Jessica Mcdonald.
A school spokeswoman said:“well done to our new leadership team and to all the 22 P7 pupils who presented their election speeches to the school this week.
“They all confidently presented very informative and well thought out speeches and were a credit to themselves and their families.”
