Rojano WILL be signing

-

Hamilton boss Martin Canning says there has been another delay in the signing of striker Antonio Rojano – but it WILL happen.

Negotiations to sign the Argentinian have been somewhat protracted and a player Hamilton hoped to have in for the visit by Hearts on Saturday is now at least a week away – but Canning urged fans to be patient.

“Hopefully in the next week or 10 days we’ll be further forward,” he said.

“It has been a lengthy process to apply for the right level of work permit, it’s different levels to get him in.

“Bbut we’ve got everything in place now, so hopefully in the next week or 10 days we can get everything over the line.

“It will definitely happen. As far as I’m led to believe there are no issues, it’s just a lengthy process to go through, but in terms of all the paperwork getting done, everything is in order.

“Antonio is a busy player, he has a lot of energy and is different to what we have.”
